Eli Manning

Senior Associate Director

Eli's 16-year NFL career set the standard for quarterback excellence. The first overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft, he became a two-time Super Bowl champion, two-time Super Bowl MVP, and Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year recipient. He is widely regarded as the most accomplished quarterback in New York Giants history. Known for his durability, he once held an ironman streak of 210 consecutive starts, ranking among the longest by a quarterback in league history.

Post-Retirement and Broadcasting

Eli remains active in football media, hosting Eli's Places, a college football documentary series on ESPN+, and co-hosting Monday Night Football with Peyton & Eli (The ManningCast) on ESPN, which won Sports Emmy Awards for Outstanding Live Series in 2022 and 2024.

He and Peyton have also served as NFL Pro Bowl coaches for the past three seasons, with Eli leading the NFC to a 3-0 record.

In 2024, he was inducted into the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame, and in 2023, he was honored with jersey retirements by both the New York Giants and Ole Miss. That same year, he was also inducted into the Cotton Bowl Classic Hall of Fame and the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame.

NFL Career

Eli retired on January 22, 2020, and in September 2021, the Giants honored him with a Ring of Honor induction and jersey retirement. He ranks in the Top 10 in NFL history for completions, pass attempts, passing yards, and passing touchdowns, and his 234 career starts are the fourth-most by a quarterback for a single franchise.

A four-time Pro Bowler, Eli led the Giants to two Super Bowl victories (XLII, XLVI) and was named Super Bowl MVP in both games, making him one of only five players to win multiple Super Bowl MVP awards. He was recognized by the Giants by having his No. 10 jersey retired and his name added to the Giants Ring of Honor.

In 2011, Eli threw for a career-high 4,933 yards and recorded 14 consecutive 3,000-yard seasons—the first Giants quarterback to do so.

For his impact both on and off the field, he received the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award (2016) and the Bart Starr Award (2020), recognizing outstanding character and leadership.

College Career

Eli set 45 passing records at Ole Miss and in his senior season he led the Rebels to a 10-3 record and a Cotton Bowl victory, earning the Maxwell Award (Nation's Top Player), Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award (Top Senior QB), Walter Camp Player of the Year Award, SEC Player of the Year and the Conerly Trophy (Best Player in Mississippi).

High School

Eli attended Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, earning All-American, All-State, and All-District honors at quarterback.

Community Impact

Eli has raised millions for The Eli Manning Children's Clinics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and supports March of Dimes and Guiding Eyes for the Blind among other philanthropic areas.

Eli and his wife, Abby, live in New Jersey with their four children: Ava, Lucy, Caroline, and Charles “Charlie” Elisha.
